This system will provide fair weather across our area through early next week. Highs today will be in the middle to upper 50s, with lows tonight in the upper 30s and lower 40s. This system will provide dry conditions through the short term period with just some fair wx cu today and clear skies tonight. H85 temps fcst to be similar today to yday, but starting the day considerably cooler, so highs in the m-u50s expected with decent radiational cooling tonight allowing temps to drop into the u30s-l40s. && .LONG TERM...(Saturday through Thursday) Issued at 355 AM EDT Fri Nov 4 2016 Strong upr ridge over the plains this morning will move east to the grtlks by sunday and then grdly weaken over the ern conus as a shrtwv movg east from the nrn plains splits into closed low over the central plains while nrn portion conts movg east over the top of the ridge across the upr grtlks. This scenario suggests cdfnt associated with this shrtwv will wash out before reaching our cwa with high pressure contg to dominate providing fair wx and above normal temps through the period. && .AVIATION...(For the 12Z TAFS through 12Z Saturday Morning) Issued at 632 AM EDT Fri Nov 4 2016 Cooler and drier air was spreading southwest over the area early this morning. A few areas of 1500 ft/MVFR ceilings were over Lower Mich and northern Ohio. Aircraft soundings indicated a shallow moisture layer. Added a TEMPO MVFR period for a few hours at FWA before noon. Drier air should continue to spread over the area favoring scattering clouds this afternoon. Otherwise, conditions will be VFR with light winds. && .IWX WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES... IN...NONE.
