daily and weekly statistics CHANGE

We recently discovered that aircraft observations with good temperatures but bad winds were not being included in the daily, weekly, and interactive statistics available at http://acweb.fsl.noaa.gov/ruc_acars/. As of 18 UTC 14 March 2005, we are now including such observations. This necessitated a change in the format of the statistics: we now include the count for non-missing wind observations ("count_S") along with the counts for temperature ("count_T") and relative humidity ("count_RH"). If you have automated systems that read the daily and weekly statistics files, please be aware of this change. The new format applies to daily statistics from daily_stats/2005-03-14.txt, and weekly statistics from weekly_stats/2005-03-09.txt.
