Aircraft error statistics wrt RUC model

[This is a copy of a messages posted to the FSL ACARS Information Forum.] We now have available daily, weekly, and interactive statistics for aircraft data, validated against the RUC model (which covers a region somewhat larger than the contiguous United States). Thes are available at http://acweb.fsl.noaa.gov/ruc_acars/. (This page is linked from the main FSL aircraft page at http://acweb.fsl.noaa.gov/.) Summary statistics are available to all; interactive statistics are restricted to those with access to real-time aircraft data. Data start at 1430 UTC on 10 Jan 2005. -Bill
