Aircraft proceeded to Detroit

The aircraft that left CMI proceed to DTW around 2345Z and did indeed encounter the stratocu deck that was discussed in my previous post. At 8080 feet, the temp was 3C and the RH was 51 percent. At 6400 feet, the temp was minus 1.8C and RH 100 percent. The temperature then went above freezing for the next hit at 4800 feet. The temperature of around -1C matches well with satellite cloud top temperatures. Lyle
