TAMDAR switched to lower resolution mode

We had previously switched the TAMDAR Mesaba fleet to put out higher resolution samples (see post 25 April): 10 hPa samples up to 200 hPa above ground level on ascent, and 10 hPa samples below the 100 hPa level on descent. At altitudes above those levels the interval was 20 hPa. This was to allow for higher resolution soundings for comparison to other sources. The change was intended to be temporary due to comunications costs. We have now changed the fleet back to the default mode which is 10 hPa samples up to the 100 hPa level on both ascent and descent and 50 hPa above the 100 hPa level. The time default was and remains set at 3 minutes. Feel free to contact me if you have questions.
